Last day of 2016. Last benchmarking with my friend Pasi, The Ulkoholisti. What we did…we decided to benchmark an awakening of Helsinki at the Kauppatori market square in the city center. Awakening of the last day 2016.
The Market Square is waking up
Morning was beautiful; people building stands on the market, Chinese tourists walking at the area and taking photos, smell of hot coffee rising from our cups, calm Baltic Sea, not much traffic…very enjoyable moment. Even though I feel more comfortable in the real nature, urban nature has its own soul and feeling and should be experienced more often. There are a lot of nice places in Helsinki and especially the peaceful city times are very amazing. Summary: The Helsinki Awakening was a Number One Experience. It was our last walk & talk on 2016, Thank You Pasi!

Later today I watched a very interesting documentary about two British men, Reza Pakrawan and Steven Pawley who made a bicycle tour from Nordkapp in the Northern Norway to the Cape Town in South Africa. They cycled about 18000 kilometres in 102 days…something miraculous. The main message (at least for me) was: Make Your Dreams Come True! Dream may be small or large, don’t wait for the circumstances to get better – they will never be perfect. Just Do It!
I wish You all a Happy New Year and may 2017 bring good things to everybody!
